East Pennsboro Township has a first rate Department of Public Works, which includes divisions for Highway, Wastewater Treatment and Collections, Stormwater and Parks. Our Roadmaster, Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent, Assistant Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent and Facilities Manager, with input from the Public Works Director, are responsible for all the various activities of the 30-member department. The main Public Works building and yard is located at 645 Tower Road, Enola.
The Highway Division maintains more than 84 miles of Township roads and streets annually, as well as picking up leaves in the fall and clearing snow in the winter. Township staff repair and replace stormwater collection and conveyance infrastructure throughout the Township.
The Wastewater Treatment and Collections Divisions operate and maintain an increasingly sophisticated 4.4 million gallon per day wastewater treatment plant, 11 pumping stations and many miles of underground sewer pipelines throughout the Township. The wastewater treatment plant is located at 21 Dulles Drive East, Camp Hill.
