East Pennsboro Township and American Legion Post 751 are partnering to salute our Military by inviting residents to honor loved ones with custom banners to be displayed along the streets of Enola.
This is an ongoing program, however banners will only be displayed between Memorial Day in May through Veterans' Day in November. They will be taken down and stored indoors to preserve them over the winter months. Banners will then be rehung in their same location by the following Memorial Day.
In order to locate your loved one, open the Map Locator on the Troop Banners website. A Google Map will allow you to navigate through the streets. Scroll down to the Serviceperson's name or click on a red flag to bring up a picture of the Military Banner that is located in that approximate vicinity.
APPLICATIONS AND COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROGRAM HAVE CHANGED FOR 2021.
Completed forms along with payment, and a military photo (to be scanned and returned unharmed or emailed directly to Troop Banners) can be sent to East Pennsboro Township Recreation Department, 98 S Enola Drive, Enola, PA 17025 or placed in the drop box in the parking lot.
