SEASONAL ACTIVITIES and CLASSES

Close to My Heart scrapbooking & stamping is offering the following classes through the Township Recreation Dept. Please call at least three days in advance to PRE-REGISTER with the Rec Dept at 909-5630 for any or all of the following classes. If you attend at least 4 of the classes, you will get a CTMH gift certificate from Sue Stackhouse and a free CTMH idea book. Space is limited, so don’t wait to register.

Intro to Card Making Workshop
January 10th  6:00 - 7:30pm  Township Municipal Building Room G3
Come see how easy it is to make beautiful hand crafted cards. In this class you will make and take home 3 personalized gorgeous cards. Come join in the fun! This class is for adults as well as children 8 yrs. old and up interested in card making, scrapbooking or both!
Cost: $ 10 per person

Intro to Scrapbooking Workshop
January 17th  6:00 - 7:30pm  Township Municipal Building Room G3
Would you love to learn how to scrapbook? Come see how fast, simple and easy Close To My Heart makes scrapbooking!
You will make two 12 x 12 layouots while learning the basics of scrapbooking. You won’t want to miss this! This class is for adults as well as children 8 years old and up interested in card making, scrapbooking or both.

Intro to Stamping
January 24th  6:00 - 7:30pm  Township Municipal Building Room G3
Have you wanted to know how people make such amazing personalized cards and scrapbook pages? Come learn how to stamp! You will make a stunning card and tag/bookmark, and everyone will want to know how you did it. This class is for adults as well as children 8 years old and up interested in card making, scrapbooking or both.

Intro to Techniques for Scrapbooking and Cards
January 31st  6:00 - 7:30pm  Township Municipal Building Room G3
Come learn all the neat ways to make your cards and scrapbook layouts have that “WOW” factor. You will make a card and a 6x6 layout while learning 5 techniques everyone can do.  This class is for adults as well as children 8 years old and up interested in card making, scrapbooking or both.
Cost: $ 10 per person

Card Crop
February 7th  6:00 - 7:30pm  Township Municipal Building Room G3
Come make 10 amazing spring cards. Use them for Easter, Birthdays, thank you or any special occasion. Please bring your own scissors, cutter and adhesive.
Cost: $ 15 per person

Scrapbooking Crop
February 21th  6:00 - 7:30pm  Township Municipal Building Room G3
Ever thought you could get 10 - 12x12 layouts done in two hours? You will in this crop! Come see Close To My Heart’s newest papers. You will complete one double layout with each new paper pack. I will have the layouts and papers ready for you to put together along with other embellishments (additional embellishments will be available for a small fee). It’s that fast, simple and easy to do.
