Township Memorial Day Parade and Memorial Service
May 18, 2008  2pm Parade begins at Pine Street in South Enola.
Each year the Township Board of Recreation and the Enola American Legion Post
#751 , Sons of the American Legion & Legion Auxiliary plan a special observance honing those who have served our country in the Armed Forces. The parade forms at Pine Street runs along Enola Drive to Zion Lutheran Church for a brief memorial service. Service begins approximately 3pm with guest speaker from the PA National Guard, veterans groups, honored guests, music by the EP High School Marching Band, and the tradition 21 gun salute. Individuals or groups wishing to participate may call the Recreation Department at 909-5630 to register. There is no rain date scheduled for the parade. The service will still be held on Sunday May 18th at 2pm in the banquet room of the American Legion. 

Kids-Only Yard Sale
JUNE 7th, 2008 from 9:00am to 12:00noon. 
For the eight straight year, the Recreation Department will hold a “Kids-Only Yard Sale from 9am till Noon on June 7th in Adams-Ricci Community Park. The event this year will feature free carnival-like games and entertainment that will be provided by the West Shore Ecumenical Ministerium
School age children will be able to display and sell their old toys, games, collectibles, clothes, bikes and child oriented items. 
Each registered child, along with adult supervision, will receive a 10 x 10ft space (parking space sized) in the area where Pumpkin Fest is held. In this booth, you may sell your toys, clothes and treasures as well as see what’s on display from other kids in the township. Grab a few tables from around the house and unload your good stuff for cash. This is a kids event - parents are there to assist. There will be no commercial or adult sales during this event.
KIDS STUFF ONLY! Any child of school age is eligible.
Participants must pre-register with the Recreation Department by calling 909-5630. Registration closes May 23rd.....no rain date is scheduled.

Pennsboro Pumpkin Fest 10th Anniversary
October 11-12 2008 , Our 9th Annual Pumpkin Fest was a great success with 30,500 in attendence, but a huge thank you to all of our community members and guests for support this event. This year’s event will be our 10th Anniversary and we are hoping will join us on October 11th and 12th at Adams-Ricci Park. A great weekend of games, contests, family entertainment, arts & crafts, pumpkin related events, antique and custom card show, inflatable games, food vendors, musical performances, 5K run or walk and MUCH MORE. To obtain vendor information and participate, log on to

Township Halloween Parade
October 22, 2008 East Pennsboro Township sponsors a Halloween parade with Floats, costumed marchers, fire trucks and the EP High School Band. The parade starts at EP High School parking lot and goes to South Enola at Pine Streen. If you wish to participate in the parade, contact the Recreation Department at 909-5630.
