KITCHEN SCIENCE for GRADES K-5 July 12 -15 4:00 - 5:30 Kitchen Science is back with all new adventures (and some old favorites). In this unique class students learn about the connections between science, cooking and crafts! Activities include making tornados, learning about colors and rainbows, volcanoes, snow, geyser explosion, slime, ICE CREAM, bubbles, pizza, fruity dough and much more. This a hands-on and exporatory class - so students get messy. Take homes includes tornadoes, slime, bubbles and more! Cost: $ 47.00 per student (students may pack dinner and stay with the teacher in between classes)

BUGZ Club July 12-15, 6 -7:30pm Township Building Room G3 Grades K - 5 Buzz on to this unique science/crafts class. Youngster will learn about lady bugs, the life cycle of a butterfly, creep crawler spiders and more. Cost: $ 42 resident, $ 47 non-resident.

KINDER TOTS’ Wednesdays 6 - 6:30pm Session I: Sept 15 - Oct 20 Session II: Nov 10 - Dec 15 Township Building Gym Children will learn stretching, body isolations and actions, motor development skills, song and dance activities, as well as creative movement. KINDER DANCE Wednesdays 6:45 - 7:30pm Session I: Sept 15 - Oct 20 Session II: Nov 10 - Dec 15 Township Building Gym Kinder Dance blends a variety of physical skills with educational concepts. Children will learn the basics of creative movement, ballet, tap and gross motor developments. This class is for children 3 - 6 years old who are interested in dancing. TRACK & FIELD CLINICS at East Pennsboro High School track April 21, 23, 26 and 30 6:00pm to 7:30pm NO COST FOR PARTICIPATION, Open to anyone 9 -14 years old. This series of clinics is designed for anyone 9 - 14 years old interested in Track & Field skills. This is a chance to learn and try various running events (50, 100, 400, 800 and 1600 meters), standing long jump and softball throw. The clinic is open to everyone and it a good practice opportunity for those participating in the Hershey Track & Field Meeting held at the High School Track on Sunday May 3rd, 2009. Learning Enrichment & Activities Program at East Pennsboro Middle School
Do your kids get bored over the summer ? Help them LEAP into fun! The Learning Enrichment and Activities Program offers summer workshops for kid completing grades 3 - 8 in areas of arts, mechanics, engineering, crafts, cooking, sports and more! 2010 Schedule to be Announced. Class times vary in length and start time. Course fees are approximately $ 16 - $ 60. Scholarships are available to qualified individuals. Registration begins in early April. LAWN PARTNERS PROGRAM Ages 12 - 16 years Interested in earning extra money mowing lawns this season? Register now for Lawn Partners. Join a list of East Pennsboro students willing to mow lawns for township residents who are physically unable and / or, don’t have the time to groom their lawn. TEEN TRAVELING CLUB Come join this exciting Traveling Club for teenagers this summer! This program will offer this group of students the opportunity to get out of the house, meet new people, try new activities and have fun a couple of days a week! All the activities are planned for the novice and will require students to try new things. If you’re up for the challenge then come join us all summer! Each day the students will be transported by bus to various locations around Central Pennsylvania, so come prepared to have a summer of adventure! Trips include Hershey Park, Ski Roundtop Adventure Course, Paintball, climbing wall, and outdoor recreation! This program is designed for students 12 – 15 years of age. Registration will open Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Township Municipal Building. Club size is very limited! KEYSTONE GIRLS STATE 2010 Dates JUNE 20 - JUNE 26 The American Legion Auxiliary, Dept of PA, will hold it’s 65th session of Keystone Girls State June 20 - 26 at Shippensburg University.
